Extremely Comfortable

Bought for my hubby. He is 5'7", weighs 155 lbs, and has a 33" waist. Based on my hubby the shorts fit perfectly, provide the proper level of compression and are very comfortable. He'll buy another pair when these need replacing.

Here is the most comfortable & best performing couple of cycling shorts I've owned. The past couple of another make had a similar design of padding which i got from my bike shop. These far surpass those including a greater price. Delivery was unexpectedly quick also. I will be purchasing a 2nd couple of these instead of switching between this better pair and my older wearing down shorts (the first is five years old, another only 24 months which is already wearing down).

I would recommend these to anyone who's looking for a new pair.

I love them a great deal that I purchased a second pair, and I'll buy more in the future to slowly phase out my old ones.

There's lots of padding in the chamois but it's flexible enough to move with you. I'm still not ready to try out bibs, so a good waistband may be worth searching for, especially on long rides. The waistband on they are much more comfortable than a pair that I own that cost double. Good leg hems, too. They remain in place and do not feel constrictive.

My Perl Izumi shorts measure 16x6 inches giving a lot of protection more than a wide area. The padding goes down your leg a bit thus preventing pinching of sensitive structures occurring with narrow padding. I purchased a pair of tri shorts measuring 10x2.5 inches which start to pinch after a couple of hours. Small areas may are very effective for sprint triathelons but if you intent to hours of cycling then the larger size seems necessary.
